Welcome to Please Save A Cat

Look into their eyes. Are these disposable pets? Some people think they are. Dropped by the roadside, abandoned, thrown in trash bins, they are left to fend for themselves. They end up in kill shelters, hit by cars, eaten by predators. Others suffer from disease, parasites, and hunger.

MILLIONS of pets are killed yearly in shelters in the U.S.A. You have probably seen the heart breaking pictures of these animals waiting in their cages to be adopted or be killed. Pet overpopulation is solvable. Please neuter or spay your pet, and if you can add to your
animal family, please adopt. For neuter/spay help in the Greenbrier Valley contact The Greenbrier County Humane Society.

We are an all volunteer organization created to rescue cats and kittens from the kill shelters of West Virginia. All our foster homes are CAGELESS. We provide necessary veterinary care, vaccinations, and neuter or spay all our cats. The expenses are tremendous. Many of our cats are permanent residents. We ask for your support. All donations go directly for, and only to care for the cats. Please Save A Cat.
